Anna Kovaleva is a fashion, film, and music video director with an exquisite eye for beautiful editorial-style visuals and storytelling. She works with top Los Angeles model agencies (including LA Models, Genetic Models, and others) to create stunning portfolios for their clients. She’s made music videos for numerous artists and bands including The Conscious Outlaws, The Band of Liars, Mechanical Roots, and Yevae.  Her music video “Without You” for Irish singer Pugwash was nominated as Best Music Video at L.A. Shore to Shore Short Film Festival for its strong storyline and social impact.

 

Before directing her own projects Anna worked as a production coordinator on major films and commercials working with top name talent like Jennifer Aniston, Jack Black, Judd Apatow, Mario Lopez, and Andy Cohen. She also worked for major streaming services and studios, including Netflix, Sony, and Amazon, adapting feature films and TV series for Russian-speaking audiences. Her projects include The Blacklist, Riverdale, Star Trek: Discovery, Dynasty, The Expanse, Jumanji, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and many others.

 

Anna currently lives in Los Angeles working as a director, and helping clients create beautiful high end work through her production company Midpoint Productions.
